Holidazed

Hello Everyone!

     I put on 4 lbs. since my last appointment and Dr. Chi was very happy but me not so much. I have been over enjoying many fresh baked muffins and pies recently, ruh roh! My blood counts were lower than normal so I was a bit anemic (low red blood cells). But, not low enough to put off my chemo treatment so I have 800 mg. of Gemzar dancing throughout my body attacking those nasty, fast growing cancer cells. I am back for another appointment on Halloween day 10/31/11. I was diagnosed 2 years ago to that day on Halloween 10/31/09, so that is a very emotional day for me! But, I look forward to getting dressed up for all of the trick or treaters in my neighborhoodJ!

     I am looking forward to my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving, because Team Fitzgerald (all of my sister’s wonderful family) will be visiting from Philly and Boy Wonder-Jake will be back from Amherst. My parents will be hosting the big traditional dinner in Milton, Jack & Sue’s Thanksgiving Adventure.
