Team Brenda Update 4/15

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for checking in J! I really appreciate all of you checking in and leaving comments. I had an appointment this past Friday 4/15 and they did some imaging- a CT scan. I return on Tuesday, 4/19 to meet with my oncologist at St. E’s to do some blood work, possibly a saline IV and to discuss the results of the images taken on Monday. I am very anxious but being very positive about the progress of my disease. I will also be making an appointment with my big shot oncologist at MGH, Dr. Fidias, after discussing the results with my oncologist at St. E’s.

     I am mostly just very tired and a bit unsteady on my feet. I have good days and bad ones and make the most of those precious good ones! With the nice weather teasing us, I enjoy the warm sun on my face and the light, warm breezes of Spring.
          Jake has a busy month as he is doing another visit to UMass-Amherst, volleyball has started with a 4-1 record and now the difficult decision of which school is deserving of his presence. I am so proud of him!
     Please tune in regularly as I will post an update after my appointment on 4/19.
